Jim Francis (born 1954; died 5 October 2001[1]) was the visual effects designer for twenty-six episodes, during series C and series D.
Career[]
Outside of Blake's 7, Francis was visual effects designer for the Doctor Who stories, Caves of Androzani. Other shows amongst many others, included The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Top of the Pops, Jane Eye (1983), The Young Ones and season 8 of Red Dwarf. JIm had also worked on special effects and special effects supervisor on several films and television programmes.[2]
