Malodar was the planet to which Egrorian fled with Pinder to complete his development of the tachyon funnel. They lived in the biodome installation.
The atmosphere was mainly of nitrogen, methane, and argon, with traces of free ammonia and sulphur compounds. Surface temperature was minus 90 to minus 100 degrees (presumably Celsius). Due to the atmosphere, survival suits were required if not transferring directly to the biodome.
Malodar was 17 light years away from Porphyrus, a lunar satellite in a neighbouring constellation. (TV: Orbit)
