Mida was one of the planetary leaders who attended Avon's anti-Federation conference at Xenon Base. He argued that they had no armies with which to fight the Federation. Avon replied that the Federation had no armies either, relying on pylene-50 and that he had the anti-toxin for it. Mida was the most vocally supportive of Zukan joining the alliance, seeing it as being in all their best interests, and argued against Chalsa's request for compensation for Zukan's destruction of their ships, saying they needed to start afresh.
