Mike Kelt (born Michael Dollar Kelt, February 1954[1]) was the visual effects designer for seven episodes of series D.
Career[]
Outside of Blake's 7, Kelt was visual effects designer on several Doctor Who stories. This included the redesign of the TARDIS console, featured from 1983 to 1989, and the memorable 'trial space station' model shot from 1986's Trial of a Time Lord.[2] Other shows amongst many others, included The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Top of the Pops, Star Cops.[3] Mike has also worked as special effects supervisor on several films and television programmes.[3]
Mike Kelt has been director of special effects company, Artem Ltd since at least 1991.[1]
